Dog treat bag leather pattern with magnetic flap and pockets. Printable PDF (A4/US Letter) for training, walking, and everyday use.
This dog treat bag leather pattern is made for real life — those everyday walks, spontaneous training sessions, and long outings when you need treats, bags, keys, and maybe even your dog’s favorite toy. I designed this pouch to be compact and practical, with thoughtful details that make it easy to use and comfortable to wear.
The following materials were used to make the bag:
Leather: 1.4–2 mm (3.5–5 oz)
I made this version from 1.4–1.6 mm (3.5–4 oz) Crazy Horse leather
Hardware:
11 rivets
6 round magnets (1.5 mm / 0.59 inch)
1 buckle
2 snap hooks
2 steel D-rings
The pattern includes a belt that is 2 cm (0.79 inch) wide
All components are listed in the pattern and shown in the video tutorial.
The completed bag measures:
Width: 16.5 cm (6.5 inches)
Height: 18 cm (7 inches)
Depth: 5 cm (2 inches)
It’s just the right size for treats, waste bags, and small essentials — compact enough to wear comfortably, spacious enough to carry what you need.

I wanted this DIY leather dog treat pouch template to feel natural during daily use. The magnetic flap gives you one-handed access to the main compartment — perfect when you’re rewarding your dog during training. The side pockets hold rolls of waste bags, easily accessible but neatly tucked in. And the back pocket? Great for keys, cards, or any small item you don’t want to lose.
Each part of the design has a purpose, and you can tell when you wear it. Everything stays in place, and you don’t need to fumble while holding a leash.
Whether you’re on a short walk around the block or a long hike through the woods, this bag makes things easier. The adjustable strap and D-rings allow you to carry it your way. It’s not bulky, but it holds everything that matters — and it looks good doing it.
This dog walking bag leather pattern is ideal for dog trainers, pet owners, or anyone who wants a reliable leather project with practical use.
You can customize the leather, hardware color, or even add a logo. Keep it natural, go bold — or match it to your dog’s collar. With this leather dog training treat bag PDF, you have a solid base that’s easy to personalize.
