DIY Adult Novelty Leather Toy Pattern – Phallic Party Prop

DIY adult novelty leather toy pattern is my tongue-in-cheek project for parties, prank boxes, and photo props. I designed a compact 3D form from leather pieces that goes together cleanly and holds its shape on a desk or display. It’s intentionally humorous, decorative, and safe to show as a gag—made by hand, not intended for intimate use.

Materials

Leather 1.4–2.0 mm (3.5–5 oz). The leather should not be too stiff for the main parts. For the heart-shaped base (the lower stand), a thicker, more rigid piece works best to keep the prop stable.

Finished size

Height: 9.5 cm (3.74 in).
Heart base width at the widest point: 9.5 cm (3.74 in).
The proportions are tuned so edges read crisp, seams stay neat, and the silhouette looks graphic in photos and on a party table.

About the idea and build

I wanted a project that lets crafters lean into playful adult humor while practicing tidy cutting, clean stitching, and confident edge work. The contours are simple on purpose, so assembly is relaxing and quick. Tips for a clean finish

I like firm but not overly rigid leather for the main body so curves form smoothly. For the base, a stiffer piece keeps the prop upright and prevents rocking. Mind your edge prep—light sanding and careful burnishing make the silhouette read clean in photos. Small stitches and even spacing give the miniature a refined look that reads “crafted,” not “costume.”
