Immerse yourself in the art of leathercraft with our Pattern Steampunk Leather Car Jewelry Box.

This template assists you in crafting a jewelry box that mirrors a vintage car, a quintessential emblem of steampunk, blending Victorian elegance with industrial design.

I sewed this Steampunk Leather Car Jewelry Box from Crazy Horse leather, 1.4-1.6mm thick. You can use vegetable-tanned leather that is 1.4-2mm (3.5-5 oz.) thick for the job. For the headlights, lighter or undyed vegetable-tanned leather of 1.4-1.6mm (3.5-4 oz.) would be best.

Also, I used the following hardware:

  • Rivets 38 pcs.
  • Knob screw rivets 9 pcs.
  • Curved screw spikes 5 pcs
  • Screw spikes 9 pcs.
  • Steampunk decorative details, like clock wheels 5 pcs.
  • For wheels. Steel threaded rod, diameter 3.5-4mm (approximately 0.14 in).
    Length 11 cm (4.33 inches) – 2 pcs.
  • Hex nuts or cap nuts can be used as end caps.
These can be purchased at hardware stores. They often come as 1-meter long rods that can be cut to the desired dimensions.

You can buy two models of leather cars at a significant discount.
