Materials I used

To make this cat design panel, I worked with vegetable-tanned leather without a finish, 1.4–1.6 mm (3.5–4 oz) thick. For the colors, I used leather dye to bring the cat’s features to life. You can choose natural tones for a realistic look or go bold with bright shades – every choice makes the bag unique.

Size of the finished flap

This panel is designed for the Transformer base model, which has these measurements:

• Height – 22 cm (8.66 in.)

• Width – 20 cm (7.87 in.)

• Depth – 5.5 cm (2.16 in.)

Of course, you can also adapt this flap to other bags of similar size if you already have your own crossbody. That’s the freedom of this design – it’s flexible and open for creativity.
